KX CCD Camera Series FAQ
The KX CCD Laser Cutter is the Co2 laser cutter combined with the smart CCD vision software and camera.
It can detect features of the small-sized printed or embroidered materials and then position cut with high accuracy.
It can also cut and engrave on most non-metal materials like acrylic, plywood, wood, bamboo, MDF, foam board, EVA foam, magnetic sheets, paper, plastics, polyester, fleece, plush, felt, nylon, lace, silk, linen, cotton, leather materials with super high speed.
KX CCD camera laser cutter is equipped with an industrial CCD camera with 130 megapixels. It can cover a 14*10cm image range per shot.
The small CCD vision software can reach industrial-grade recognition precision of less than 0.5mm cutting error at an affordable price.
KASU’s vision software is particularly easy to operate. An operator with only a high school education can learn to operate the laser machine and software in just one day at the most.
The answer is YES. But you will need the models with the conveyor belt and KX small CCD camera models can finish a perfect cutting for the printed fabrics which can not have a 1-2mm black contour line.
The marking point detection template matching mode of KX Series will be applied. A design file is needed for this working mode. And you need to print several marking points around the graphics.
After the design file is imported into the software, the cutting path will be adjusted according to the relative position of the marking points from the graphics.
With more marking points you print, the actual cutting precision would be higher, but cutting speed would be slower too.
KASU KX Series is equipped with an industrial CCD camera and has dual control software: Vision Software and Non-Vision Software. So the answer is YES.
You can cut non-print plain materials in the KX CCD camera laser cutter under the non-vision mode.
While using this non-vision working mode, you can import the nested layout design file into the laser control software and after setting cutting parameters, the KX series laser cutter will start the cutting process automatically.
The answer is it depends. KASU KX CCD camera series is equipped with an industrial CCD camera and can work under two modes: Vision Mode and Non-Vision Mode.
While using this non-vision working mode, you can prepare the CAD design and layout files from other software and import the files into the laser control software to generate the cutting file. And in this condition, the answer is YES, you need to prepare the cutting files.
But you also can draw the cutting path in our laser control software directly and after setting cutting parameters, the laser cutter will start the cutting process automatically. Then the answer is NO.
When using the graphic feature template matching mode of KX Series, if the design is complicated and the printed or embroidered graphics have small distortion, it is recommended to import the design file into our vision software to generate the template. The answer to this situation is YES.
But if the printed or embroidered graphics have big distortion, you better draw the cutting design in our CCD camera laser software and generate the matching templates directly. A prepared cutting file is also NO use under this condition.
